I graduated with an honours degree in graphic design and illustration in 1995 from Bath college of Art & Design.

In 2004 I returned to my first love of illustration and set up lovelycards. I started to illustrate using my Japanese heritage in mind and began to create illustrations using my vast collection of Japanese patterned paper collected over the years.

I then took a ‘long extended break’ had two children and now a few years later, have finally come up for air and started illustrating again!
